Since you last heard from us there have been some tough choices to be made in the world: The UK finally put an end to the “will they, won’t they EU-saga”, the US Congress decided (yet again) that more guns is better than more regulation and Kim K. has continued opting for “more is more” in her attempts to nakedly break the internet once and for all. Gotta give it to her; gurl’s got ambition!
As for Mommy and me, we’ve also had to make some tough choices around the house: Mommy has decided to focus more on her tennis than on her golf this year, Daddy has abandoned life as a freelancing bon-viveur for an office job in another country (thanks so much for consulting me on that one, btw) and I have after much soul-searching decided that I want to continue working with Mommy on Mr. Grumpbox.
I have however also decided that I want to change the format slightly; without sacrificing quality too much over quantity, I’ve told Mommy that sharing shorter but more frequent stories feels much more like “me”. You feeling me? I hope you do. Because from now on, you will be seeing much more from me and I hope you like it… (I have to say that, because based on some of the scathing criticism I have received lately, Mommy and I don't seem to be everyone's cup of tea. But then again, not everyone was blessed with our love of sarcasm, self irony and love for some calibrated exaggeration...)
Leaving the h8rs to one side though and going back to our blog format;, I have truly enjoyed writing our long essays over the last year, but there comes a time in everyone’s life where you have to ask yourself some important questions. Like: What's the point of everything? What do I want to do with my life? And when is Taylor Swift ever going to find real love…?!? (Between you and me, I give this latest Hiddleston fling of hers another six months tops.)
But enough about her and more about ME! To summarize; I am now almost 18 months, I can walk, talk and charm myself to just about whatever I want. The world is my oyster and poor Mommy is only just about now realizing that I have no intention on cutting down on her required services. And on that note: It is time for my peeled pea puree...
